Berlin, Germany - 3rd September 2015: The new range builds on Caterpillar's rugged heritage by offering a uniquely diverse portfolio of tough protection for mobile devices. The new line of Cat phone accessories will make its debut at Hall 15.1, Stand 163 during IFA 2015.

The portfolio is a unique proposition in the rugged market, offering a complete range of protective solutions from a single, well-trusted brand that's demonstrated its commitment to bringing durability and quality to all its products.

The new range of smartphone and iPad cases is testament to this, with the Signature, Utility and Urban cases offering high-end protection at 3 different price points. The former draws inspiration from Cat footwear's well-established reputation for producing high quality leather goods, combining tough and stylish real leather stitched casing with practical protection in a new kind of rugged accessory.

The Utility and Urban ranges utilise Cat's exclusive SAIF™ material, bringing impact absorption and drop proofing (tested to 1.8m) to leading mobile devices. The Urban iPad case also demonstrates a natural evolution in the Cat phones accessories range by including a newly developed smart cover that protects not only the iPad but also its battery life by intuitively switching between hibernation or waking modes.

The Urban Screen Shield also marks Cat phones' first foray into tempered screen shields. At just 0.3mm thin, it's the slimmest tempered glass offering on the market and boasts drop proofing, anti-oil and anti-smudge technology without compromising on HD clarity.

“The Cat brand is synonymous with durability, quality and protection” says Simon Boyd, CEO of Bullitt Accessories. “The cases offer consumers something new in the market, namely unique protection from one of the world’s most recognisable brands.”
