Hygiene First
We recommend you clean your rugged device several times a day
All Cat® smartphones can be cleaned repeatedly with soaps, sanitisers, chemicals, bleach and alcohol
Luckily, all Cat phones are rugged and can be cleaned easily and thoroughly, at the same time as you wash your hands. Simply submerge it entirely in hot water, lather the phone itself with a sponge or brush in warm soapy water and then rinse it under the tap.
Before washing your phone, unplug all external power sources, devices, cables and ensure all port covers and the SIM door are firmly closed, this ensures you avoid getting any excess moisture into any openings.
If your phone is in need of a deeper clean, it has been tested to survive. Without any concerns, you can generously apply and wipe all external surfaces with hand sanitisers, anti-bacterial sprays and alcohol wipes, again ensuring all cables are unplugged and all ports are firmly closed.
Easy Clean Tough Phones
As a rugged phone, you can use scrubbing brushes, cloths or towels, paper towels, disinfecting wipes or similar items without worrying about excessive wiping causing damage to the screen or any other part of the phone.
We interact with our mobile device thousands of times every day, and often press it to our faces, which means that any bacteria or other germ that is on the hard surfaces of your phone could easily transfer to your skin. As a general rule clean your CAT Phone as often as your hands to avoid transferring germs between the two and lower your risk of getting ill.
