Continuing our Unstoppable Stories series, here is Barry’s story about the value of his Cat S60 for his job as a volunteer firefighter.

In Newberry, Carolina, we met with Barry Brown, a volunteer firefighter who works 24hour shifts and relies on a phone that will last and perform during long working hours. The thermal camera and the extended battery life of his Cat S60 are invaluable for Barry’s shifts, when he might be the first person to arrive on the scene of a fire.

A phone that lasts in harsh environments

Barry often uses the thermal camera on his Cat phone to find any hot spots at the scene of a fire. Working in harsh environments, he relies on his Cat phone to be shockproof, waterproof and drop proof.

To Barry, his Cat S60 is like a tool. Its tough so he knows he does not need to worry about damaging it.
